- Circular Structure, Optional Expansion. Cubic Expansion Method Upcoming Expansion of the museum may be developed by various ideas. From a long-term perspective, it is important to expand exhibition and collection spaces, instead it is necessary to expect the expansion of maintenance and research spaces. Expansion of the north side where xhibition and collection spaces are systematically organized can have a flexible way to expand machinery rooms and parking lots at the same time. It means not a plane expansion but a cubic one.

Direction of Exhibition Management & Space Form - Management Focused on Project Exhibition, Various Expressions The museum is expected to focus its operation on project exhibitions. posessing poor art works now. It is not easy to predict expressions of modern art genres since 1960 in which most of new museums are interested. Works' scales are very diverse from large set-up works to small industrial arts. Given the variousness, exhibition spaces intend to have the flexibility and the function to make use of walls. floors and ceilings in order to offer walls for both plane and cubic works.

Circulation Plan :
Approach to the central hall is designed by duplicate ways from both parking lots and a pond. As the site is wet and reservoirs are located on the 1st floor, full-scale exhibitions are conducted above the 1st floor. System galleries are designed as water exhibition spaces to make visitors appreciate art works on the 1st floor. Outdoor passages are organized to make optional and compulsory circulations possible. In addition, in the exhibition spaces, curators can command the ways to use a variety of cir-culations through circular passages.
